 General Information

The educational and research department of Les Ballets Persans is organizing courses on classical ballet and contemporary dance since autumn 2005. The organization is also arranging master classes in classical ballet for professional dancers in Sweden and abroad as a link to company tours and lectures/conferences given by the Artistic Director Nima Kiann.

Classes are open to teenage and young dancers between the age of 15 and 25. The contemporary dance course is given only to young dancers with advance knowledge while classical Ballet is offered at the intermediate and advanced levels. Enrollment at the Academy of Les Ballets Persans is generally on a term-long basis. Registrations for new students will be accepted only during the registration period usually four to two weeks prior to the start of each season. All courses require placement interview, auditions, and/or individual scheduling.
