Carolina Ureta is born in Mexico City and started her ballet studies at the “Academia de Ballet de Pedregal” followed by the “Academia de Ballet del Valle” where she got her graduation diploma with the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Dance Teachers. After her graduation in Mexico, her dance education continued at the “Quinte Ballet School”. In December 2005 she passed her Solo Seal exam from the Royal Academy of Dance. As a professional dancer she has performed with four different companies representing different dance styles: Classical and Neoclassical, Contemporary, Tango and Jazz. “Sugar Plum Fairy”, “Carmen” and “Grand Pas Classique” are some of the most important roles of repertoire she has performed. She has been invited to several dance festivals in Mexico and has performed in most important theatres in Mexico City such as “El Palacio de Bellas Artes”. As a member of Company Neoclassique, she has been touring with the ensemble around South America. Parallel to her dancing carrier she also got a BC degree in Biology and a MSO in Environmental Technology at the Imperial College of London.
