Danielle was born in Sydney, Australia in 1988. She started ballet at the age of six when living in Papua New Guinea with her family. On returning to Australia three years later, Danielle began training at the National Theatre Ballet School in Melbourne. In 2005 at the age of sixteen, she started dancing full-time at the school under the direction of Ms Beverly Jane Fry. Over the next three years Danielle performed many roles in the classical repertoire. Highlights include the title roles in 'Cinderella' and 'Giselle', The Slyph and Effie in 'La Sylphide' and Swanhilda in 'Coppelia'. She has also performed in many new contemporary pieces by various well known choreographers.
 
Danielle has traveled throughout Victoria, Australia performing as a guest artist for various festivals and events and was a dancer in Melbourne Opera's season of 'Carmen' and the Melbourne Theatre Company's premiere of 'Ivanov'. She was also selected to perform as a soloist alongside members of The Australia Ballet in the premiere of 'The Jesuit Novice in Ossegg' choreographed by Gala Moody (Leigh Warren and Dancers) for the AICD Dance Creation 2007.
 
On completion of her professional training at the National Theatre Ballet School in 2007, Danielle attained an Advanced Diploma of Arts (Classical Ballet). In her final year she also was awarded the Dance Medicine Australia Award and the Kathleen Gorham Memorial Scholarship. In January 2008, Danielle traveled to Europe where she is currently pursuing her classical ballet career.
