Born and raised up in Mexico City he studied from 2001 to 2004 at La Academia de la Danza Mexicana (INBA). Later he continued his dance education at El Conservatorio de la Danza during 2005. In Canada he trained with the Toronto Dance Theatre and participated in the program Dance Teq of the National Ballet of Canada; where he got versatile dance training in classic ballet, pointe technique and contemporary.

Ricardo has been working in several mexican dance companies; Cia de Danza de Tania Pérez-Salas, Fuera de Centro, Ballet de Cámara de Morelos, Cuerpos Neoclásicos, Teatro de Danza Aérea Humanicorp, Ballet de la Ciudad de México, Anima INC and Laleget Danza.

In Toronto, Canada, he performed as soloist guest dancer with Ontario Ballet Theatre and Xing Dance Theatre during the company's Nutcracker Winter Tour Season. Ricardo has participated in the Festival Ontario Dance Weekend as soloist dancer of City Dance Corps and Ballet Espressivo.

Ricardo has also created several choreographies performed in The Salvador Novo Theatre of El Centro Nacional de las Artes. “Diáspora”, “Homo-Urbanis” “Memorias Póstumas” and “Di Sconforto” are some of his choreographic efforts. As a choreographer he has been engaged in Ballet de Cámara de Morelos where he created “Yesterday”, “Tiempo de Espera-NZA”, “Inhóspita” and “Oración al Viento” with the Four Seasons of Vivaldi.
